Hypnotherapy mobilizes the healing power of the mind to produce evidence-based results. The following therapists are trained in hypnosis:
Luis Lerma My training is in Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis through Milton H. Erickson Foundation. Training focus on communication at multiple levels, i.e. linear, mosaic; facilitating communication outside of client awareness, bypassing the analytical mind and freeing client personal limitations through a reassociation of inner workings.
I use hypnotherapy to complement an eclectic psychotherapy practice, predominantly interspersing amidst breathing, meditation, imaging, visualization techniques and other therapeutic and strategic interventions.
Audrey Autrey As a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT certified through IBH, the International Board of Hypnotherapy), currently I am only using hypnotherapy in conjunction with traditional therapies as a "booster". I am not taking any primary hypnotherapy patients at this time. I am using it in cases where anxiety is preventing us from moving forward, as well as in cases where self worth issues come into play. A good candidate for hypnotherapy would be someone who is not actively psychotic or dissociative and is highly motivated for positive changes.
